Leyland Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course, 6298 yards long, par 70.
It possesses
a large practice area available to members and visitors. It also has practice bunker
and chipping facilities together with a putting green.
The course is professionally
landscaped and has many distinctive features, which include several water hazards.
It is within easy access of the M6 and M61 motorways.
Occasionally a new or temporary member of the pro shop staff may be unaware of the 2-for-1 arrangement. Should this arise you should ask to consult the golf Professional for clarification.
Directions:
Leave the M6 at Junction 28, turn right, continue to the traffic lights,
right again onto the A49 (Wigan Road) and the club is approx. 400 yards on the left
hand side.
