Fingle Glen was built as a nine hole course in 1989 and then extended in 2002 to
a full 18 hole course. In 2004 a further extension was made to allow the course to
be improved and lengthened. Fingle Glen now offers a near 6000 yard course
with a
par of 70 for men and 72 for ladies.
The course offers a good test of golf for players
of all standards.
Along with some shorter par 4's that offer birdie opportunities
there are some very challenging par 3's & 4's that are a test to make par for any
player. The par 5's, one on each nine, give balance to the course.
Directions:
Located 5 miles west of Exeter, just off the A30
(Exeter to Okehampton)
