Windermere Golf Club is situated in the heart of the English Lake District with spectacular views over Windermere and
the surrounding fells; the scenery is breath taking.
It is a Parkland course of 5132 yards with a Par of 67 over its
18 holes that are
painstakingly preserved to offer excellent
golf to its visitors.
There are extensive practice facilities, which include Target Greens for pitching and a practice Sand Bunker.
Directions:
From junction 36 of the M6 follow the signs to Windermere.
At the roundabout above the town of Kendal take the B5284,
signposted Crook and Hawkshead.
The Golf Club is on the left just before Bowness-on-Windermere.
